The Hays Companies' Claims Management Team will work to ensure claim notice requirements to all appropriate levels of insurance are met by reviewing internal claim reporting processes and establish a service for notification of all claims and claim circumstances to the appropriate insurers. Additionally, our Claims Consultants are able to:

  • Evaluate exposure presented to determine appropriate policies (primary, umbrella and excess) to be notified and proceed to notify as appropriate
  • Provide input in claims handling and litigation management
  • Assist in negotiations, settlement conferences and mediation
  • Participate as required in conference calls or meetings between insurers, counsel and Client to address any problems or issues as they arise
  • Conduct claim reviews as needed

Coverage issues can arise in any claim circumstance. Our consultants are available to advise your business on coverage questions prior to claim notification and will serve as an advocate on your behalf regarding any coverage issues that may arise post notification. Our experts have successfully advocated on our clients behalf, resulting in positive resolutions for all parties involved.
